I enjoy
beads and sometime, when I sit down to work, I spend a lot of time just sorting
through my collection and admiring beads. I started collecting seed beads and a
few focal beads and it has grown over the years to include an extensive
collection of everything bead related. Needles, thread types, seed beads,
crystal, pearl, fire polish gems (glass), real gemstones, Czech shaped beads,
tear drops, assorted focal beads, lamp work glass. Bead looms, wire wrap tools, pliers, hammer, anvil and bench block. Now crochet thread and hooks, and macramé
cord are starting to arrive into the milieu for my space.
I have so
many beads now, even though I have organized them, I have many with no future
plans. I am working to change that by planning out some bead challenges for
myself. I want to pick some beads and design projects for them to challenge
myself to use many of my collection in new work.
I’ve been
working on more leaves, my circle project, some new crochet ideas and a red
bracelet. I hope to have some completed projects to post next week.
